Welcome to my website. My name is Lynne and I intend to devote this site to information about bipolar affective disorder (sometimes known as manic depression). I was diagnosed with bipolar in 1996 and it was a big shock for me to discover I had a mental illness. However - learning about medication and about support which was available has helped to soften the blow. I hope you enjoy the site and find it interesting.
